Coming in second place must be one of the most polite things one can do. Thats what Makia just did in Vuoden Huiput, the annual competition for best finnish advertising and design with our FW2011 catalog. Finns have a tradition in coming in second place. Tracing back all the way to WWII and most olympic ice hockey tournaments. Giving away the gift of winning to others can be rewarding… After all, we lost the award to a set of finnish stamps. Stamps are awesome anyway.
Gotta love it. Just feel the difference between tasteless luxury and pure freedom! At least visit the Overkill Shop in Kreuzberg if you are around.
