Walter Schreifels

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

King of the week : Walter Schreifels is a rock musician and producer from New York City. In the late ’80s, he played in many New York hardcore bands, most notably Youth Of Today, Gorilla Biscuits and most recently Rival Schools. He just released his solo debut album An Open Letter To The Scene. Walter is not only an amazing musician but also a great guy. Very close to our heart. We visited Walter and his family in Brooklyn last November and got this sick photo of him in his backyard. A little sneak peek of our Fall / Winter 2010-2011 collection for you. Hope you like it. And don’t forget to order the new album. Here.

Those were the days…

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

We just went through some old files and found three pictures from “back in the days”. Our first, second and third office. The office evolution. Our first office (or design “atelier” as some would call it) in 2002 was in a coal cellar that is even smaller than the one we are in now. In 2007 we had our first sales office in a local café called Valter (R.I.P). Nice small friendly hole in the wall that offered their paying customers a free wireless internet connection. It all consisted of one sales guy, a laptop, phone, coffee cup and a pile of catalogues. Voila! The last picture is from our current office (starting from 2009). It’s good to look back and say, aaaaaah those were the days! Although all of this was only 7, 3, 2 years ago we all still look pretty much the same. Pretty. Just much older. And at a new level. What a nostalgic moment…
