What is all that fuzz about our love and devotion for the city of Zurich? Well, there is no “fuzz”, only true love and devotion. So we decided to prove it in our own little way. By taking a true Helvetica hero, Thomas Rütti from Dashing Bash LLC onboard to design a t-shirt line for us. And of course pose as a confused indian in our catalogue. The collaboration artwork is the wappen of Zurich, put together by small Makia flags. The 4 shirts are showing different stages of a self-defragmentating Zurich flag as a synonym for the loss of a well sheltered identity or just the loss of “the perfect shape”. The shirts are (typically) only available in exclusive shops. Not in your next door grocery store. Sorry.
Dashing Bash LLC is a small design agency based in Zurich/Switzerland. They work for clients such as Nike, Rome SDS, Vans, The North Face and many more. Most of the time they create collections and provide marketing for several international action sport clients and now and then accommodate good friends from Helsinki on their couch in Zurich. Thank you for that.
“This is no job for me. Not at all. Behind Makia is a pile of great individuals who are doing an awesome job. Makia is my friend. I like the clothes and every single idea they come up with. That if anything is a motivation enough to be involved. Honestly I am proud to be somehow part of it. Stay tuned for Winter 2011, that stuff will blow you away!”
